Women shouldn't be cops.

8:24 What planet did you fall off of. Women are just as capable as a man of being a cop.

I would like to take this time to congratulate the new deputies. You look outstanding in uniform. Stand tall and be proud.

I would also like to offer some advice to you and the WCSO. If you can, all of you request to be field trained by Cpl. L. Stevens. He is the finest, most honorable deputy, nay, man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I feel certain that Sheriff Lewis and his staff would agree and yell this from the mountain top. I hope, and I know it would be difficult, that the Sheriff will assign all of you to Cpl. Stevens. His wisdom is beyond his years. When I asked Cpl. Stevens how he became such a fine LEO, he replied, "I could not do what I do without the efforts of the outstanding men and women in law enforcement, and more specifically the deputies of the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office. Without them, I would only be a small man."

As new deputies, whenever you respond to that difficult call, late at night when you're tired and not sure what to do, just ask yourself, "What Would Lee Stevens Do?"

Thank you Cpl. Stevens. Stay safe. We love you man.
