2 climbers die on way down Everest

Two climbers who reached the summit of Mount Everest died on the way down from apparent altitude sickness, according to reports.

Eric Arnold, whose Twitter account said he was fromRotterdam, reached the summit on his fifth attempt. He was in a group of more than 40 climbers who reached the 29,035-foot summit on Friday, according to Reuters.

Employees of the Seven Summit Treks agency in Kathmandu told reporters that Arnold died at Camp IV and had been suffering from weakness and frost bite.

Mountains are beautiful , they are pretty to look at or even paint a picture. Why in the hell do people risk their lives to do such crap .
I just don't understand , it's a little like suicide by cop!

8:12-Especially those people who rock climb without equipment or ropes of any type.They have their photos taken while hanging by one hand and nothing but a 500 foot drop under them.Not my idea of fun.

There is a very interesting show called "Sherpa" filmed by discovery that looks into the lives of the locals that escort the climbers up the mountain if anyone is interested. Should be on demand and have seen it on Netflix
