ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — Police have charged two people with running the largest indoor marijuana-grow operation ever discovered in Howard County.
Casey Ann Fowler and Daniel Earl Sims, both 48, were charged with multiple marijuana counts, including manufacturing, production and distribution of the drug, as well as firearms charges, after detectives found large quantities of marijuana being grown and packaged in a sophisticated operation inside the house.
"What we've discovered is the largest-ever indoor marijuana-growing operation in Howard County," police spokeswoman Sherry Llewellyn said.
Investigators are checking for documents to determine whether Sims rented the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath, white brick house on Triadelphia Road in the Glenelg community. The property sold at auction in early April, according to HomeSearch.com.
"We're still looking into rental records and how long the residents have been living there or staying there. Clearly, it had been going on for some time, because the plants were in various stages of maturity," Llewellyn said.

Since it's legal to grow now the charge should just be "Growing without a license", right???? And why do LEO's ALWAYS take pictures of cash and firearms, both are still legal possessions? They don't take pics of clothing, dishes or other items that are in the home. They do it to program, condition or brainwash people into thinking cash and firearms are bad!
