Under Maryland law all bicycles are subject to all motor vehicle laws. You can even get a speeding ticket if you exceed a 25 mph zone! With that being said I would not doubt they, the legislature, would consider them motor vehicles...idiots some people put in office!

Wow,you guys are thick headed. This design is to create a higher level of awareness of bicycles on the road.Since a large portion of our population has zero common sense they need reminding.

and bicycles never obey traffic laws

its a warning that soon the economy is about to totally fail and your only choice will be a bicycle.

My ex-wife had a frame that said "My Other Car Is A Broom." It wasn't far from the truth.

Can bicyclist be fined for impeding traffic flow when there is no bike lane and they are creating a safety hazard?

Blah blah blah. I pay road tax, tags and insurance to drive so get your sissy little free loading bicycle off the highway!

Most people on here are just mad they don't have the physical stamina to ride a bike more than 10 feet

The mind control is becoming a bit ridiculous

It's OK, gang. A lot of people will pay extra $$ for their tags in order to display this dumb statement on their car. Let them feel important. And try not to laugh while they're looking.

How do you keep 3 feet away when they ride 2 wide on road with 1 lane in each direction?

This kind of intelligence is from the affirmative action programs implemented for state jobs.

If they are to abide by the vehicle road rules & use the road, why don't they have to pay vehicle tag & insurance fees?

They're supposed to drive them as if they are a car.
NO, they don't.
One passed me from my right, crossed in front of me & passed the car in front of me on the left, turned right at an intersection w/o stopping. There was a light at the intersection & it was red. We were waiting. There was a policeman with a "stop" to the right on college ave. The guy couldn't see. But he went anyway. Dunno why he wasn't struck.

These people are pretty rude when out on one of their group rides. It's a miracle no fatalities have occurred out on riverside dr with one of them. They pretty much challenge traffic and take up the whole lane going well below the posted limits
