Camden, DE - The Delaware State Police arrested a Dover woman today in the early morning hours and charged her with 4th offense DUI.
The incident occurred around 12:55 a.m. Sunday, January 10, 2016, as a trooper on patrol observed a Tan Ford Explorer Sport Trac exit the Waffle House parking lot onto northbound US13, near Voshells Mill Star Hill Road, Camden. The suspect vehicle caused a motorist on northbound US13 to engage their brakes to avoid a collision. The suspect vehicle then swerved into the left turn lane. A traffic stop was conducted after the suspect vehicle made a legal U-turn onto southbound US13. Tyra M. Martin, 33 of Dover, was the lone occupant of the Ford and an odor of alcohol was detected. A DUI investigation ensued and Martin was subsequently transported back to Troop 3 where an inquiry into her driving record revealed three previous DUI convictions (08/28/06, 11/03/06, and 12/26/13); this arrest would make #4.
Tyra M. Martin was charged with 4th Offense Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While Suspended or Revoked, Failure to Have Insurance in Possession and Failure to Yield Right of Way. She was arraigned a JP7 and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution in default of $5,025.00 cash bond.

If I had to see that in the mirror, I'd get drunk too!
Do you think that this will prevent her from either drinking or driving? Not likely.
