UK's Cameron Drops Plans to Join US in Syria Airstrikes

British Prime Minister David Cameron reportedly has dropped plans for a parliamentary vote on extending anti-ISIS airstrikes to Syria, in the latest blow to President Obama’s attempts to form a stronger coalition against the Islamic terror group.

Though the U.K. has joined the U.S. in conducting airstrikes against ISIS in Iraq since 2014, multiple U.K. media outlets including The Guardian and The Times of London reported Cameron was hoping to put a vote forward in the House of Commons on joining the U.S. as the Obama administration seeks to regain its foothold amid a surging Russian presence. Those outlets report Cameron has since shelved the move.

A Foreign Affairs Committee report issued Tuesday also urged Cameron not to join the airstrikes unless there was a “coherent international strategy” that can realistically defeat ISIS.

“In the absence of such a strategy, taking action to meet the desire to do something is still incoherent,” the report said.

They don't want to put their butts on the line till there's somebody competent in charge.
Sure can't blame them for that.

3:29 I think you're right. Putin certainly isn't a pansy a$$ like the person in the White House. You'll learn quickly not to mess with him.

Cameron will need air strikes in his own country real soon if those idiots don't stop letting all those muslims in their country. Nazis will be on the rise real soon if they don't wise up. Maybe another Hitler type is what they need to get rid of that vermin.
