MILWAUKEE — Cities across the nation are seeing a startling rise in murders after years of declines, and few places have witnessed a shift as precipitous as this city. With the summer not yet over, 104 people have been killed this year — after 86 homicides in all of 2014.
More than 30 other cities have also reported increases in violence from a year ago. In New Orleans, 120 people had been killed by late August, compared with 98 during the same period a year earlier. In Baltimore, homicides had hit 215, up from 138 at the same point in 2014. In Washington, the toll was 105, compared with 73 people a year ago. And in St. Louis, 136 people had been killed this year, a 60 percent rise from the 85 murders the city had by the same time last year.
Law enforcement experts say disparate factors are at play in different cities, though no one is claiming to know for sure why murder rates are climbing. Some officials say intense national scrutiny of the use of force by the police has made officers less aggressive and emboldened criminals, though many experts dispute that theory.

it would be even higher if you nut jobs would count murdering innocent people by the police... But they get their own rules and laws and can murder without any prosecution...
SO in reality murders are even higher than what they say...
The overwhelmingly majority black on black. Like 99%. But black lives matter Oh how they lie. How they lie. Their children don't stand a chance. Not a chance in hell. Black parents keep lying and keep on digging those graves. Keep on digging! Keep on digging and don't stop. The black bodies are piling up all killed by other blacks due to all the black lies. No wonder they are killing each other off like they are. Honesty is the basic pillar of a civil society and when that collapses chaos ensures.
When black lives are the ones being taken over 10-1 by black murderers, who is the target audience (no pun intended, really) for "Black Lives Matter"?
police not doing their jobs. standing around letting people shoot each other so they don't get charged with something sad really. they cannot figure out how to do their jobs without out using illegal and excessive force
Oh Wait, I thought those were All Gun Free Zones. So, how is that GUN CONTROL WORKING ? The only ones with guns in the city are the Criminals and Cops. And by the time the Cop's get to the crime scene, you have turned into a STATISTIC. Liberals say, u see, numbers just went up, one more reason to ban more guns.
