Save Our Stevensville is pleased to announce that Hoon & Associates, LLC (www.hoonassoc.com) has been retained to assist with the contest of the Queen Anne's County State Street Homeless Shelter project.
The law firm has been asked to pursue all appropriate avenues to assure that there is full compliance with the rule of law and all applicable regulations.
To that end, Mr. Hoon commented that "the key consideration here is whether the proposed use - the homeless shelter - is to be located in a legal and appropriate location - not whether the idea for such a facility elsewhere in Queen Anne's County is a good one."
Save Our Stevensville has clearly established that the State Street location is inappropriate, for multiple reasons.
In addition to the substantive land use issues at hand, some significant procedural irregularities are also being investigated.

All the rich folk crying because of the homeless that will be in their area. Stfu and deal. We all have to. Why not you?
It's not just the rich folk. Homeless vagrants are a real nuisance in poor neighborhoods too.
