Waste of time and nothing but political show.

We went to SPD to discuss the drug dealer on our block that they already knew about and 2 years later he is still there.

So WTF is going to this worthless meeting going to do to change it?

ANSWER THAT IRETON?!?!?

Discussing this will not improve the situation. IDIOT mare, that "Eaton".

And the professional redundant 'tonight' and 'this evening' in the same sentence. LOL, are these reporters even high school graduates?

Residents are 'urge' to attend? WTH does that mean, and the Mare is a school teacher,,,,scary

It's not like it's rocket science or anything. The ROOT cause of ALL the violence is the complete breakdown of the traditional family. In other words a FATHER, who is a positive role model and in the child's life consistently.
This is it, this is all and NOTHING will ever change and will only continue to get worse until someone has the guts to address this factor.
To address anything else without bringing this up is nothing but a complete waste of time.

3:47 you hit the nail on the head! let alone the father of many kids from many different mothers! a total breakdown of the family structure.

Until the black community begins to address the issue that the problem lies with them, nothing will change. The Democrat welfare voter alignment as created this problem.

So nice of mayor rainbow to bring in Comrade Frosch.a documented socialist. Talk about useless.

Y'all are barking up the wrong tree, not understanding this has nothing to do with Ireton or the violence in the city. It is totally a hit against WRDE.

Funny how Y'all are always complaining about Mayor Jim, Chief Barbara and crime in the city. When they do something to get feedback for help y'all persecute them again. IMO Y'all are barking up the wrong tree as it is not about Ireton or violence, but is totally a hit against WRDE.

No kidding 7:09. Everyone saw the Mayor Eaton mistake but decided the substance of the story was more important. If you find that funny then good for you. Everyone can use a laugh first thing in the morning.
The problem with all these meetings, etc is that they are not ever productive. Look no further than Baltimore City for absolute proof. They've been having community outreach meetings for generations and guess what 7:09-the violence is worse then ever-repeat WORSE THAN EVER.
Baltimore City also have a large number of rec centers, community pools, programs, etc etc implemented with the expressed purpose of giving the youth "something to do" to get them "off the streets."
Guess what? It's not working. Wanna know why? Because the government can NOT take the place of a 2 parent household. A family unit that aren't criminals themselves, don't associate w/criminals, have a good work ethic and honest and respectful.
Yes, it most certainly is NOT rocket science. The violence among black youth is due exclusively because of the breakdown of the family and nothing will change until THEY turn their focus on this aspect and eal with it.

Another factor is the lack of values esp honesty. An example is Obama. He's a liar yet the black community overwhelmingly supports him. They then send the message to the younger generation that lying is perfectly acceptable. Honesty is one of the most important pillars of a civilized society and when there is no honesty the whole society becomes chaotic and collapses.

And now let's talk about the "music."
That's a huge problem. You have these rappers that are selling the kids violence, drugs, gang life and the kids are buying into it and acting like the "music" tells them to.
