When the school gets shut down then those speed cameras get shut down with them. RT 50 and Davis should be paid for by all the speed cameras. Hasn't anyone told the useless chief of SPD that they tried curfews here before and it didnt work?
Plenty of distractions to get more people busted by the bogus speed cameras?

What I want the city to do is to look into "Slide the City." They have a website and a Facebook.
This is something that could be done in conjunction w/3rd Friday and would bring in a lot more people (tons more even) than what 3rd Fri usually draws.
We have to start looking for ideas that will put Salisbury downtown on the map.
As long as you have the type of individuals living near the area that are there. The downtown will never be a "come back" like some people would like. There is parking in the dark, no police seen, shame of City of Salisbury Police Dept. There are just way too many Thugs hanging out there all the time. Wake up Salisbury, many of us seniors are afraid to go to 3rd Friday for this reason.
Downtown is good for what it is , doctors , lawyers and indian chiefs.
ALL cities big and small are the same , Those good ole days of the woolworths are over , NEVER to come back. Don't waste time on restoring businesses to the downtown area . All cities have the thugs and more thugs , just shoot em.
