These drones have the potential to be a serious hazard to flight paths, even if there are no drone flying zones, they will have problems that steer them off course endangering lives on the ground. What happens when all pizza, subs and delivery places, auto part deliveries hop on it to cut salaries? They will be crossing paths, crashing in mid air and falling to the ground with no regard who will be affected. Scenario, kids playing in the yard waiting for the pizza mom ordered, drones collide and two balls of fire rain down on the children. Drones can easily carry incendiary devices or other explosives making it much easier for terrorists to inflict harm at will with very little planning. I am a libertarian and despise government intervention especially in commerce, however, I see really bad things if the drones are flying about like mosquitos in a swamp.
You're crazy just another know it all that doesnt know it all. Its cheaper for delivery places to use humans. It'll be 20/30 years before drones that can carry a decent payload are cheap enough for the general public. Right now a drone that can lift a 5lb payload costs aroubd $10k before spare parts, extra batteries etc. For a delivery company to replace their shift drivers thats over $50k. Plus by that time people would have to have a commercial flying license to fly for a business, they would command a pretty high yearly salary. Drones aren't easy to fly it takes a lot of training and practice to be able to flt them. It took me a couple years before I trusted myself with a $3k custom built hexacopter.

Drones run off batteries, not gasoline or other combustible fluids lol. Even most military grade drones run off battery power to keep motor noise to a minimum.
