Body Cameras

The Justice Department funneled $20 million into a body-worn camera program. Law enforcement officers would wear cameras that record their interactions with the public. The $20 million pilot is part of President Barack Obama's proposal to spend $75 million on 50,000 cameras, with $17 million going to grants to purchase the cameras, $2 million for training and another $1 million to evaluate the cameras and study best practices. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said the body-worn cameras would improve transparency and accountability for law enforcement agencies.

not going to work mostly... the govt is spending all this money for an audio device not a video device because if a cops is beating you down or running or chasing to the like, you will not see it but only hear it bc of how understudy it is and how it will shake all around and you won't see anything but a blur at best...

They are better off saving money and just get small cheap audio devices at this point...
