The Boy Scouts' Greater New York Councils said they hired Pascal Tessier, an 18-year-old Eagle Scout who has been a vocal advocate of opening the 105-year-old organization to gay scouts and leaders.
Board member Richard G. Mason said the councils see Tessier as 'an exemplary candidate for employment as a camp leader.'

That does it. I am taking my son out of Boy Scouts. I gave them a chance,but now I am done with them.

This will backfire. It's no secret that almost all pedophiles are homosexuals. This is why more little boys suffer at the hands of these men more than girls and why very few of the pedophiles are females.
This is what they do. They slither into these positions of trust. We saw it with the Catholic Church. Those homosexuals didn't want to be priests. They wanted to molest little boys and the position gave them a tool so to speak to do horrible unthinkable things to little boys.
As was said many moons ago, we started down the slippery slope when they allowed openly gay boys to remain!
Before that, their organization was religiously affiliated and prevented it. Now they are simply another politically correct organization at the whim of the government!

This should be the last nail in the coffin for this once proud organization. They should have never opened the scouting program to openly gay boys. It's just a matter of time before they accept gay leaders. I don't understand why churches such as Bethesda and Asbury openly support scout troops any longer.
The national should pull the charter of the rogue troop and its camp, and provide referrals of regular scouts to other local troops.
The prospective hire may be a good kid but does not conform to the organization's standards. Too bad; so sad.
Scouting leaders need to reinforce their 'line in the sand'.

Call all the names you want. I'm not one bit scared of any homosexuals. They aren't going to do anything to me. I do fear for the little boys who have suffered and will continue to suffer because of enablers and apologists like yourself who condone child sexual molestation because you are effectively handing over to the pedophiles one more trick to add to their bag of deceit.
I was a boy scout about 65 years ago and have always been proud of it.What a shame to see what has happened to that organization.
Well there go the boy scouts. Pretty sad to see. Let's see how many parents will allow their sons to go camping with a bunch of homos.
