Phil was last seen February 2nd, better known as Groundhog Day.
The groundhog is now under fire for seriously under-predicting how much of winter is really left.
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf issued a statement saying the police should “drop their cold hearted plan to arrest Phil.”
For now, investigators suspect he is holed up underground. Although, they do hope he comes out soon.

Bill Murray was bitten twice by a groundhog when filming "Groundhog Day" the movie. And had to have rabies shots no groundhog would have to be destroyed.
Hey, give the rodent a break! He only had two choices, 6 weeks, or early Spring!
I thought he would have an arrest warrant for biting the mayor. If I was the mayor I would have been pissed and throat punched it.
Ok, I'll go out on that limb. With subfreezing temps predicted until 2/26, and who knows what after that, Global "Warming" and "Climate Change" are pretty much bunch of Hooey. With absolutely no average temps being different in the last 18 years, and a cold winter this year, which, btw, it's supposed to be in winter; hence the name, and a nice, warm summer, which coincidentally is supposed to be by Nature, not much "proof" is in the offing again this year.
Oh, well. The Skyisalling crowd will think of something, I'm sure!
If we all would stop using GAS like Obama says...Winter would not be cold, summers hot, fall cool, and spring flowers like it is now...
