As the nation's moviegoers ready for the Valentines Day release of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sensation, actress Dakota Johnson Friday told a national TV audience that it's so racy that she won't let her parents watch.
In an early preview of the sex-filled film for a "Today" show audience, the daughter of actor Don Johnson and actress Melanie Griffith nervously said, "I don't want my parents to see it." Asked who could, Johnson said, "maybe my friends, maybe my sisters."
The movie is expected to be a blockbuster and has drawn attention for its sex scenes, including S&M. Even the first family has talked about the popular book, one of three in a series.

Just another example of the moral decline of our country.
4:13 Not everyone is a prude. Don't like it? Don't see it. Don't comment on it. Just ignore it and you'll live longer.
Well, that's a ringing endorsement. Not!
I have heard that there is a lot of full frontal nudity by both her and him. There is also object insertions, whipping, beating, and intense close ups of genitals. The cut for the theaters is different than the original version, the original was going to be rated NC-17.
4:13, I totally agree
4:23 this has nothing to do with being a prude. It's has all to do with class, dignity, principles and morals something you are severely lacking in.
And don't you ever dare tell anyone what they can or can not comment or have an opinion on.
FYI This is American where we have the right to express our opinions and don't you dare ever ever forget it.
Now as for the movie itself, it's a movie made for people lacking in sophistication who by going to view the movie will think it makes them out to look, oh so very cosmopolitan and worldly. In other words white trash will line up in droves to view such a stupid movie.
Thank you. Why is it people insist on forcing their morality on others. I don't think the movie seems appropriate for general distributions so I won't see it but I'm sure not going to condemn anyone that chooses to do so and neither should you.
Well I wasn't really interested in seeing it until you told us that. :)
Kids think there seeing something with this movie but it's nothing like the R and X movies in the 70s.
Agreed. Don't know what all the fuss is about. See it, don't see it, approve, disapprove. Why pay $$ at the movies to see a fraction of what you could see at home with the click of a mouse....if your so inclined LOL
5:57 must be a bible thumper with constitutional leanings. How'd you get those kids lady?
Bold and Beautiful is way more interesting right now than this movie.
Youre free 2 exercise ur puritanical oppression on ur family but dont even think about pushing ur outdated morality on me.
If my gut tells me that something is bad...I listen. It is really as easy as that. If it makes me nervous for my family to see or know of my work...then I really have no pride in what I have done. Sad.
Bring back the census board!
Good idea. Along with segregation, no votes for women and the Berlin Wall. One step forward two steps back.
