The grant was to CREATE an additional FOUR HUNDRED jobs here on the Shore but here's what else you don't know.
One year ago there were actually 975 people working at Labinal in Salisbury. As people quit and others retired in the last year, Labinal did not replace those employees, NONE of them. THEY KNEW they would be moving to Texas and my belief is that Barbara Mikulski knew it too. There was not going to be an additonal 400 jobs here on the Shore and 325 of that 400 had already left.
So for the MILLIONS of dollars Mikulski and Obama gave them, it would have really only created an additional 75 jobs!
Labinal told Mikulski they had been contracted to build 32 new Chinook Helicopters and in return of the grant they'd create an additional 400 jobs. Funny how politics works, isn't it.
A year ago they had 975 employees. That dropped to 650 and just DAYS ago, (obviously without ANY research from Mikulski) they gave a Grant to a company who TODAY announced they're moving to Texas. How convenient!
We're working on finding out exactly how much money Labinal got from the Obama/Mikulski Grant. So there will be more to come...

HOW does this buisness get Tax payer $$$ when its a french owned company and if they didnt HIRE more employees with yhe grant where did the grant money go when they where WELL AWARE that they where moving to Texas...I want people ARRESTED.

First off, was there any kind of performance requirement attached to the grant, say, proving they added 400 jobs, staying in Maryland, etc.?
