Jolly Jack Show at WBOC-TV
I worked at WBOC-TV for 16 years. Johnny Rae to the best of my memory was the first Jolly Jack followed by Carroll Long and I followed Carroll.
The show was sponsored by White & Leonard of Downtown Salisbury. Kids along with parents loved Jolly as he brought new suggestions for Christmas lists.
These items Jolly presented could be viewed at White & Leonard downtown.

I remember Jolly Jack! As a kid loved to watch him, but he scared me to death when he jumped out. Good memories, wish our local stations were better. Salisbury was a nice family area at one time.

I thought Ralph Pennewell played Jolly Jack at one time as well.
Remember Jolly Jacks baseball team. Played at stadium where Civic Center is now.
I played for the Jolly Jacks baseball team. Still have the shirt.
