WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is contacting hundreds of thousands of people with subsidized health insurance to resolve questions about their eligibility, as consumer advocates express concern that many will be required to repay some or all of the subsidies.
Of the eight million people who signed up for private health plans through insurance exchanges under the new health care law, two million reported personal information that differed from data in government records, according to federal officials and Serco, the company hired to resolve such inconsistencies.
The government is asking consumers for additional documents to verify their income, citizenship, immigration status and Social Security numbers, as well as any health coverage that they may have from employers. People who do not provide the information risk losing their subsidized coverage and may have to repay subsidies next April.

i just can't imagine that.
Here are some of the questions they should ask:
What kind of phone do you have?
What kind of car do you have?
How many pets do you have?
Do you smoke?
Do you drink alcoholic beverages?
Are you willing to present a blood and urine sample for testing?
All of these will reveal the amount of excess money that the questioned has available. If they budget that well - they don't need the subsidies. If they're using the subsidies to fund any of these activities - they don't need the subsidies. If they decline or fail the last request, they should be immediately disqualified!
This should apply to all recipients...although there will be a preponderance of one or two groups.....
F me... enough is enough. Not only is the King Barry health care plan killing us, wonder what it is going to cost for this investigation? I'd also bet they wont be able to repay the money so we 'the people' will have to chip in even more...
Just what the hell did they expect was going to happen? Every illegal in America applied for this now they are saying duh, I think we need to verify their status? Jeez will the dumbness ever end?
Yet another program to discourage people in the US to work!
