A police force has been criticised after promising to live-tweet a prostitution sting next week.
Officers in Maryland say they will "take you along for the takedowns" as they target people who use sex workers in Prince George County.
The names and photographs of suspects will be tweeted as they are arrested.
Twitter users will be able to follow their progress by following a special hashtag and the county police's Twitter feed, which has more than 10,000 followers.
A blog post on the department's website read: "From the ads to the arrests, we'll show you how (we are) battling the oldest profession."

You must have been busted for paying for the booty.
and this one too please
You got to love ole P.G. county!
Unless they are specifically going after minors caught up in human trafficking, this is a huge waste of resources. But I know, its much easier doing this than battling the forces that ship drugs and illegal guns into the state.

Oh yes they are 10:38. Welfare and just about every other entitlement out there. Crack whores are what they are called, willing to perform sex acts for a little as 5 bucks. And where they are the drug dealers aren't far behind.

You think everyone who says something you don't like has been busted, a cop hater and who knows what else.
I guess I have to be the one to break this to you, BUT, the freaking earth does not revolve around you.
Open your mind a little bit. Maybe it could grow if it had more space.
And if that does not work, take your service weapon and really open your freaking mind.
1:26 That would make him either a preacher, doctor, dentist, banker, etc... as all of those positions have been busted here in Salisbury. Some of the biggest offenders get swept under the rug.

Do you have a point that is relevant?
5:51 except for the fact as stated above, these are $5 crack whores and yes the drug dealers proliferate when crack whores are in an area. Then you have the other crimes associated with drugs, such as robberies and thefts. If you look up someone who was arrested for prostitution 99% of the time, they also have multiple drug offenses and thefts.
A lot of sex workers are targeted young by drug dealers who get them hooked on crack and heroin then they have them willing to do just about anything for their fix.

And if you look up policepersons, politicians, heck just about anyone, 99% of the time they have something they do not want to see the light of day.
This is not a case for fighting crime, what is happening here is that they are trying to enforce morality laws. I will be in church for that later.
I disagree Unknown. Nearly all of these crack whores/street walkers (as they are also known by those of us who have worked in the trenches trying to rehabilitate them) are drug addicts. Most hopeless.
It's ludicrous to say "policepersons, politicians, heck just about anyone," have an addiction.
It's not a moral issue at all, if you consider what all prostitution encompasses. Just the blight -used needles, urine and feces, trash-caused in the neighborhood alone is cause for concern. Then there the costs to the tax payer with not only treatment for the addiction, but diseases associated-STD's, hepatitis.
It's not been updated in some years, but refer to the Pigtown John Watch blog, to read some of the neighborhood concerns.
