Samantha Ramsey, 19, was shot by a Boone County deputy Saturday as she tried to drive away from a field party in Hebron, Ky., at about 2 a.m. Police said she ignored the deputy's order to stop her car and then rammed him, sending the officer sprawling onto the hood of her car.
A small town in northern Kentucky is grieving and demanding answers from authorities after a deputy fatally shot a 19-year-old woman during an encounter outside a party early Saturday.
Boone County authorities said Samantha Ramsey, 19, rammed Deputy Tyler Brockman with her car as she left a field party off River Rd. outside Hebron, south of Cincinnati, at around 2 a.m.
Brockman, 27, had received a report about possible booze bash in a field near the Ohio River and was out of his cruiser to check drivers' sobriety, a sheriff's spokesman told the Cincinnati Enquirer.

This reminds me of our local issue where someone refused to follow instructions and got shot for it.The only thing different was that the officer was being dragged by the car and the occupant had been smoking pot.

I have seen the dash cam, what little there is, or they are showing. This cop put himself in harms way, if you can even call it that, jumped on hood(according to witnesses), fired FOUR shots into windshield hitting the girl in wrist, hand and head.
Cop is 28 yo. Some have posted his address and picture of his house in comments on news pages', and some calling for his death.
There were THREE other people in the car when the girl got murdered by this cop. You can see them in the dash cam also, terribly and visibly upset. One uncontrollably. Understandable.
The community there is outraged, as am I. At the COP and the moronic comments on here.
I believe something will be done about this, and if you bullies on here are not careful, it may just come back to bite your butts. Wishful thinking I know.

She acted very foolish and paid the price...if you endanger the life of a law enforcement member it highly likely you will die....they are trained to shoot to kill. This officer did his job and only the moron died case closed. Job well done officer.....

You missed the part where she rammed the Deputy with her car. She deserved to die and it had nothing to do with following orders.

I just looked at the Raw video dash cam and saw to of her so called friends laughing at around 26 minutes after she got shot. WTH!! She should have picked better friends to go under aged drinking with than a couple of thugs. What kind of friends would find anything funny 25 minutes after she got shot.

The video shows that the cop was not hit, nor ever in jeopardy of being hit. He was actually at the side of the car as she slowly pulled away.
He had her license plate number and knew what she looked like all he had to do was go to her home.
He murdered her
He shot at her while others were in the vehicle.
He was 100% wrong.
It was a friggin party, not a robbery, not a crime, no hand gun waiving thugs. and unarmed 19 yr old girl at a party.

Read 5:27 again and look at the raw dash cam video. Twenty five minutes into it the Homies at the party come to the front of the Dash cam and from that point several of the thugs are seen cracking jokes and laughing. Watch from that point until the end and you will see several of the black thugs having a good time making fun of what went down. I watched the entire 45 minute video twice and I know what I saw.

NO YOU ARE THE COP HATING IDIOT!! I watched the video, the entire video twice and the black thugs we laughing at the situation. You only watched what you wanted to watch. You are to stupid to research yourself and find out the truth for yourself. The truth is this white trash criminal was on probation and should not have been out in that field partying with those thugs. She broke her probation by being at that party and drinking under age and driving. You are a liar because she was an armed criminal with a 3,000 lb weapon who new she was running from the law. Running from the law is a felony. When she seen that cop on her hood she should have been intelligent enough to stop the vehicle carefully so the officer wouldn't be hurt. She new she was on probation and she tried to get away so she wouldn't get caught drunk. Their were two white girls and two thugs in that car. Some of the thugs laughing were from the party. I saw it and I am sorry the idiot lost her life, but she was on probation and if she was a law abiding citizen she wouldn't have broken the law again.
