A Preakness Owner Down The Ocean Hon

Ron Sanchez has big plans while he’s here in Maryland for the Preakness.

Of course the owner of Social Inclusion has plans to win the middle jewel of Racing’s Triple Crown on the 3rd Saturday in May. That goes without saying.
But then his plans after that don't sound like what a typical owner in the sport of kings would be looking forward to doing just days after one of America's classic races. You see on the third Tuesday in May (this blogger’s birthday) he’s planning on heading to Ocean City.

Ocean City?

What’s up with that?

Ronny Sanchez from Venezuela lived and worked in Ocean City for about a year and a half in 1995 or 1996. He has contacted some friends to gather up some of the crowd he knew back then.and plans to be in town on Tuesday. A few of us went to the Preakness in ’96, Ron’s only time. Now he owns a horse who will run in that race. When Ron was in Ocean City he was at Ocean Downs every day it was open. He was always a horse fan.
