Salisbury, Md. – The Humane Society of Wicomico County is hosting its 2nd Annual Valentine’s Cotillion on Saturday, February 15 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event will be held at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in the DaNang Room. Featured events include dinner, dancing and a silent auction. DJ Wookie will provide musical entertainment.
The event serves as a fundraiser for the Humane Society. Proceeds raised will assist in caring for the animals in the shelter. The Humane Society of Wicomico County is a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation that depends on donations to care for the animals. Only a portion of the annual shelter budget is provided by Wicomico County and the City of Salisbury.
Tickets are $40 per person or a table of 8 is only $275. Purchase tickets before January 24 for only $35 per person or $250 for a table of 8. For tickets, please stop by the Humane Society at 5130 Citation Drive or contact Kayla atevents@wicomicohumane.org.

Is this the 3rd year for the event? The 1st time you hold an event it can't be an "annual" event because it hasn't been a year since it was last held. Your 1st wedding anniversary isn't the day you get married. It is a year later. Why don't Americans know how to count?
