BREAKING NEWS: F-18 crashes off coast of Virginia Beach

A single-seat Navy F-18 jet crashed 45 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach, the U.S. Coast Guard confirms.

Spokesman Petty Officer David Weydert confirmed the pilot was rescued by a fishing vessel in the area. The pilot's condition is unknown at this time. PO Weydert said the USCGC ALBACORE was near the crash site, but the case will be handled by the Navy. A Navy helicopter has already responded to the scene.

2:42 why is DHS ordering record numbers of bullets, especially bullets that aren't used in warfare? Wonder why police forces are getting all the army surplus heavy armor vehicles? Because they can get it with grants and use it against civilians.
