Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but when I try to search for “sby news” on Google Chrome or Firefox today, your blog is not showing up in the search results. Normally it is the first thing that appears in the results. Same with facebook – a search for Salisbury News does not show your page.
I was able to find it via Microsoft Edge.
Just thought you’d like to know in case this is some sort of censorship.

Sbynews regularly drops out of my frequented sites about once a week.
That was happening to me earlier on Google but I had no problem on Firefox. Now it seems to be fine on Google.
I had no problems searching and finding it via chrome

I'm always told site is not secure and it is recommended not to view.

Yup same here not a conspiracy I thought it was gone for sure. Only thing that came up was past event in 2005 or hit piece.

Got on fine with Chrome.
I have an icon on my PC and can get into the site without having to scroll through anything. The only problem I have is that if I want to share something from the site it never gets sent. I have a list of email addresses and even when I want to send it to my address it never reaches it. I sent a message as to what might be the problem but never got a response. Joe Albero has done a magnificent job growing this site and is the best place for not only local news but good input from all over the world. Hope you get it taken care of.
When I tried earlier it said local blogger facing libel charges...and couldn't find the blog using google.
This happened to me as well this afternoon on google, it has now returned to normal. It was interesting to see the search results.
Just because you have poor SEO doesn't mean you're being censored.
Earlier today Instapundit had an article about Gulag suppressing conservative sites from search. Worth seeking out. The big tech operators are not our friends and are flexing their muscles.

These people have no idea what your talking about. No https: no meta data, no schema, no structure, nothing. If it wasnt for the actual usage and hits from this site it wouldnt rank at all. Google changes its algorithm about 1000 times a year. This has nothing to do with censorship. I can google free talk live and alex Jones with no issues. Sbynews has nothing to worry about.

The first thing that comes up every time is this blog site.
It doesn't matter what browser you use. Google, is not a browser. Chrome is. If it does work on Microsoft Edge, then it works on all browsers. The search engine is what matters... i.e. are you using Google? Yahoo? Bing? (incidentally, they all come up with this blog site when you search for it. First thing.)
In Facebook you will be more specific. Do you know how many "Salisburys" there are in the world? Each one of these locations has news. You are looking for a specific blog site, you need to be more specific. BTW, Facebook is not a search engine. Incidentally, when I searched for "Salisbury News", it gave me news articles about Salisbury. If you search "sby news" the first link that comes up is the FB page for this blog.
Stop this lunacy people. It take no time at all to actually fact check this absurdity. This all literally adds up to user error.
