Today's Survey Question 11-22-13
In light of recent exposure of politicians, (including Florida Senator) using illegal drugs, DO YOU FEEL POLITICIANS AND CANDIDATES SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO TAKE DRUG TESTS?
No, it's an invasion of privacy. What is wrong with you people? You're the same ones that support the less government mantra and want less government intrusion into your lives. Can'r have both.
Yes. They have responsibility and should take their job seriously. It is not government intrusion. Compare it to a traffic stop/sobriety check. Mayby you drink and drive too???

Were mandatory drug testing be put in place for all federal and state employees, with a positive result causing termination.... I predict two things:
1) more than half of the government employees would be out of work
2) windfall legalization legislation would be voted in with bi-partisan co-operation that has not been seen ever, and the whole process would take only a few days.
3) To keep that cushy drug money coming in from the "WAR ON DRUGS" farce, the DEA would be consumed by the IRS to enforce Obamacare, so revenues are not lost and politicians pockets stay lined.

RAMDON TESTING.
These idiots are making decisions for others Yes they should.
If they can falsify birth certificates they can also falsify drug tests.
they should be required to follow all laws, all requirements, of the average citizen. No more special treatment.
The more messed up they are the better they can handle pressure.
If big brother begins this testing.. who would you trust to run it? DUH.
I would require regular lie detector tests also, especially concerning bribes..

That makes no sense whatsoever.
Absolutely, positively, YES. Then after they are drug tested, they need to follow ALL the laws that are imposed upon everyone else, NO exceptions.
