49.2 Percent Of Americans Receive Some Kind Of Government Benefit

Democrats are almost to their goal!

DAILY BRIEFING - SUMMARY

DEPENDENCE - In the fourth quarter of 2011, 49.2 percent of Americans received benefits from one or more government programs, according to data released Tuesday by the U.S. Census Bureau.

· REALLY BIG BRO - The National Security Administration recorded information about more than 124 billion phone calls during a 30-day period earlier this year, including around 3 billion calls from U.S. sources, according to a tally from top-secret documents released by multiple news outlets.

· OBAMACARE - The U.S. individual health insurance market currently totals about 19 million people. Because the Obama administration's regulations on grandfathering existing plans were so stringent about 85% of those, 16 million, are not grandfathered and must comply with Obamacare at their next renewal.

I receive a small benefit from the veterans administration . This was from a 1967 incident , but have only had it for about 1 year.
It took 2 years to receive it.
However I will tell you that welfare and food stamps must be easy to obtain if you are a minority.

Considering the # of veterans, retirees, and middle to low income workers receiving the EIC, pell grants/student loans, and mortgage interest deduction, why is this surprising? Which one of these items do you want to see go away? Is it grandma's ss/medicare, support for our warriors, or the tax cuts?

yeah 530 because food stamps take the biggest bite out of the budget and there aren't many whites receiving food stamps

53% of students in Wicomico County school receive Free and Reduced Meals.

These families are the ones that vote to keep Obama and other Dems in office.

Don't forget that to get to 49% they are including people who get Social Security. Take that out and the percentage falls considerably.

Sad thing is people who get to be 55+ (worked all their life) when they need assistance they have too jump through a hundred hoops and still get denied! Something surely wrong with the process!!!!!

9:37 If you worked all your life and are 55 why would you need any assistance? Save any?
