Breaking News: Shooting Outside Navy Base In Tennessee

A Navy recruiter who had been relieved of duty at a Tennessee naval base Thursday afternoon opened fire outside the facility, injuring two soldiers and prompting a brief lockdown, MyFoxMemphis reported.

The suspect, who was not immediately identified, was relieved of duty at the Millington base, which is located in a Memphis suburb, the report said. The shooter, armed with a small handgun, was quickly taken into custody, the report said.
