Good for him, and if the school changes the rules to make this shirt not allowed, wear it anyway!
He needs to sue the hell out of the cops and the school district! I hope the NRA is helping him on this.
I agree with the message and admire his guts, but whats to stop other messages that are lots more offensive or hateful or obscene. How about a basic dress code for in school. Wear what you want out of school. Thats the way it used to be anyway.

Whats wrong with people that let their a$$ hang out of their pants. In prison that is the symbol for a punk (somebodys boy toy) but some ignorant fools on the outside have made it a fashion statement. It does help the cops with arrests so there is one thing good about it.

The police department probably only made the arrest to appease the school officials. Majority of the cops in the dept are probably pro gun and actually supported his choice of clothing. It will be up the Dept of Juvenile Services to decide whether this goes to court or not. My guess is that this will not make it to court. Had I been the officer to respond, I would charge him but it would be up to the school to testify and prove that he actually did something wrong. The officer was just doing what he was requested by the school. Not any different than charging a juvenile for shoplifting based on a store owner's complaint. If the officer didn't make the arrest then the school complains that he didn't do his job.

The dress code. It forbids a number of things but nothing on this Tee Shirt.
If the world were fair this teacher would be on unpaid leave but it is not.
I'm sure that fact that is has a gun on the t-shirt is what has everyone upset. Kids can't even play cowboys and indians or cops and robbers anymore because if they make a gun with their hands they are suspended.
6:28 Thats the stupidest thing I have heard. The police charge based on the law not what the schools asks them to do. So what your saying is if I told you someone robbed a bank you would arrest them and let me testify. If that was the case aeveryone would be locked up.
It sounded stupid until I saw the shirt. It has a gun on it. If it just said NRA and Protect your Rights it would be ok, but I can see where the picture of a gun on his shirt crosses the line on school dress codes.
