O'Malley, in Jerusalem on a Mideast tour, said he was still undecided but intends to dedicate "reflection time" on whether to seek the Democratic nomination.
"I plan for the latter half of this year to dedicate some more thought time - reflection time - to the question of whether or not I would run in 2016," O'Malley, a former mayor of Baltimore, told reporters.
"The key question in running for any office is having a clear and refined understanding of the shared reality we face," he said. "I arrived at that freedom and that clarity when I ran for mayor and when I ran for governor, and the interior challenge is whether or not I can arrive at that clarity, and that freedom and that sense of responsibility and urgency with regard to making a run in 2016."

EVERYTHING he does (even to the detriment of Maryland citizens) is geared toward running for president. He doesn't "represent" us, nor does he care an iota about the welfare of Maryland citizens. He is showboating and spending MILLIONS of tax dollars setting up his "persona" and his FUTURE political life. But we (MD citizens) get to fund his dream, whether we like it or not (and he dosen't care, either) Sounds like just another form of welfare to me (call it the rich white guy benefit system). Many people bitch about welfare for poor people. They should pay more attention to the rich white guy welfare system, which steals a LOT MORE money from us than any welfare queen has EVER done. Ok, everybody, all at once --- USA! USA! USA!....
If it means giving up governorship, by all means RUN...out of the country preferably.
