Taking the kids to the carnival in Pittsville. No way will we be going to Salisbury at night.
I don't participate in anything run by Salisbury i.e Salisbury festival, 3rd friday.

I'll be volunteering at Salisbury Festival Saturday night. The Jaycees are pouring for the International Beer Tasting event.
Staying far, far away from downtown Salisbury! I remember the last couple of years...

Going to the old Guys and Dolls to shoot pool.
Go to the Zoo in Washington and get mugged.
as always, staying clear of downtown.
last time i went on a friday, about 10 years ago, i was constantly being bumped into by drunks spilling beer on me.
and there is little to see on saturday.
it's a tired worn out event. it needs to be in a larger venue, away from traffic being jammed with easier parking. with new ideas.
it got to be the same thing. lion's club chicken, fire depts. selling oyster sandwiches. same people, same old thing every year.
needs reinventing.
I will enter my classic vehicle in the car show Saturday morning. Once the show is over, I will return to Delmar. I do not attend the festival at night because of the roving gangs of young people. Even though police are everywhere, I still don't feel safe walking to my car. If I had a carry permit I would go and spend money.

6:03 and 5:09. I'm with you. If it is a chilly night there will be few problems. Its the hot nights that the insects come out. Why can't we go and carry a baseball bat? Salisbury used to be in America. It's now in the Democratic Obamazone.
