Town Of Ocean City Monitoring Path Of A Strong Winter Storm

Ocean City Emergency Services is monitoring the projected path of a strong winter storm. Currently, the storm is expected to be in the Ocean City area during the evening hours of Tuesday, March 5, and is projected to last through Thursday, March 7. The storm is forecasted to have sustained winds of 30 to 35 mph gusting to over 50 mph; one to two inches of rain are likely. The rain is expected to change to snow sometime late Wednesday into early Thursday morning. Snow accumulations of one inch or less are expected. Due to high tide cycles and north east winds moderate flooding and some beach erosion is expected.

During the storm, the Town of Ocean City will be posting storm related information on various websites, social media outlets and through the GovDelivery system. In an effort to keep citizens informed with the most updated and accurate information, the Town of Ocean City will be posting storm related information on the following outlets:
