(CNN) -- The number of American "patriot" extremist groups has reached a record level, according to a new study, and experts are warning of a wave of anti-government violence.

Yeah I am tired of the Southern Povert Law Center also. Blaming Americans that give a damn about losing their 2nd amendment rights and a president that does'nt give a damn about the constitution is rediclous!

SPLC is a liberal leaning organization designed solely to promote an agenda whereby it's the conservatives who are at fault.
Our civil liberties are being violated and we are in danger as a country - not from within - so much as from Islamic extremists abroad.

It seems to me that they (the storm trooping government that acts like they OWN you) have pissed off quite a lot of people. Now, being labeled a
"patriot" is again (as in the FIRST American Revolution) equated with being crazy, violent, "extremist", and dangerous. The label will help the government defend itself against charges of murder when they (just as I predicted MONTHS ago) start using drone strikes against American citizens (which Holder just said was legal!). So, now, citizens who actually EXPECT the Constitution to be honored and defended (like the oath they took??) are "extremist". THESE are our "leaders". And you should be VERY afraid. Just think of all the people who are NOT members of any of these "extremist" groups but will have no problem BECOMING one of them at the right time. And the time is coming.
You don't suppose the high level has anything to do with an avowed communist and muslim being our president according to his own writings? No, its just all those right wing religious bigots clinging to their God, gold and guns (not much gold).
