Location Occurred: Plaza Tapatia, 1621 Ocean Highway, Pocomoke, Worcester County, Maryland

Crime or Violation: Armed Robbery

Accused: Unknown

Narrative:

On 03/12/2013 at 2245 Hrs, officers from the Pocomoke Police Department responded to Plaza Tapatia, Pocomoke, Maryland for a reported armed robbery. The Worcester County Bureau of Investigation subsequently responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. Investigation revealed that the victim, who was an employee of the store, was walking towards his vehicle when he was approached by one black male. The male was described as approximately 5-10 “, 180-190 pounds, wearing dark clothing and a dark coat. Further investigation revealed the suspect had a black mask covering a portion of his face and displayed a black revolver style weapon towards the victim. The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect and any additional information regarding the robbery.
