It’s that time again. Tonight, GSN’s “The American Bible Challenge” comes back for a second season. The popular game show, hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy, broke records during its bold, first season, becoming the highest-rated program in GSN’s history. Now, it’s back for another go-around — and TheBlaze went behind-the-scenes with Foxworthy and the GSN crew in Hollywood, Calif., to get a sneak-peek at what’s to come.
From sitting down with the comedian to speaking with countless members of the crew, the experience was phenomenal.
The series, of course, has been a surprise success from the start. Very rarely has an entertainment network — let alone a game show — taken such a profound chance on a program that incorporates such overt Christian themes. Yet GSN, a secular media outlet, was willing to throw its hat into the faith-based ring.
