Would feel sorry if it was a local bank but PNC has destroyed the local business when they took over Peninsula. Would rather deal with Bank of Satan.

1200........I totally agree. I thought I would switch banks last year and from day 1 I had nothing but problems. I was thankful I didn't close my old account and I soon closed the PNC account and and still with my old bank. Found out the old one wasn't that bad after all. Oh and that wasn't the Bank of Satan????

WAIT until the 500 LOW Income units come to downtown if this idiot Mayor is elected.

I think everyone is forgetting that local people actually work in these banks. I feel for them, nobody deserves to be robbed.

If all above commentors will move away from Salisbury you would do the rest of us a favor. The rest of us know that these types of crimes happen everywhere.Do you honestly think that leadership can stop crime completely? It can certainly help, but occasional robberies will continue regardless.

In a city this size, the crime rate is so variable and is hardly influenced by police or policy. Instead, most crime can be attributed to very small groups or individuals going on a spree of sorts.

Crime is a bad thing, sure. But in cases like this the police and politicians can really only serve as a reactive force. Proactive measures outside of domestic and drug violence are nearly impossible to implement.

Unfortunately there is little anyone can do in situations like these but catch and prosecute the criminals.

I do feel sorry for the employees in any bank. It's a terrifying experience I am sure. But it is not a very great bank to do business at. My first experience was terrible and it started with the girl who opened my account. Nevertheless I am glad no one was hurt and that they have the criminal.

But, but Jim Ireton preaches that crime is down in Salisbury.

PNC has been a wonderful bank to work with and very active in the community. The staff is wonderful and I thank God they are all okay.

I switched from PNC bank to Farmers Bank of Willards a year ago. Now thats a friendly home town bank.

Glad everyone is OK, but PNC has been stealing from its customers ever since arriving on the shore.

Lots of terrible comments about local Eastern Shore employees who are a part of this great community, raising their children and living in this community. Using this as an opportunity as a reason to demonize this major employer on the Eastern Shore is just sad and not thought out or well informed. Very relieved all are safe. That's what is important.

We are talking about a bank robbery, not PNC bank. Salisbury has a bunch of idiots!
