Bridgeville, DE- The Delaware State Police is on the scene of a crash involving a pickup truck and a tractor trailer hauling live chickens at the intersection of Redden Road and Oak Road east of Bridgeville. The roadway is currently shut down between Deer Forest Road and Chaplains Chapel Road due to the overturned tractor trailer and is expected to be closed for at least another hour. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes of travel until the roadway is able to be reopened.
There are reports of at least one injured in the crash. More information will be released when it becomes available.
