A number of Americans are among a total of 41 people reportedly seized by militants at a gas field in Algeria, a U.S officials said Wednesday. The unfolding situation was described by the British government as an "ongoing terrorist incident."
The official was unable to confirm local reports, cited by Reuters, that seven Americans were among the hostages at the gas operation, a joint venture including oil giant BP, Norwegian oil firm Statoil and Algerian state company Sonatrach. "The majority of those held are Algerian nationals," a senior U.S. official said.
BP said in a statement that the site was "attacked and occupied by a group of unidentified armed people."

When are people going to wake up and realize Obama is an utter failure-always has been and always will be. He has done nothing productive his entire life. Not only is he a failure but he's a liar. The US had a first rate candidate in Romney-a goal driven, goal oriented success, but the peons in their own low class lifestyle voted for 2nd best. That's why that 51% will always be peons because they don't strive for better.
