Thank You

This is a thank you note to a good man.

Thank you for turning aside from a life of ease and security to run for the presidency against an incumbent.

Thank you for enduring the slander of you, your family, and your faith perpetrated by a criminally negligent media.

Thank you for calling things such as 'terrorism' by their right name.

Thank for selecting Paul Ryan as vice presidential running mate.

Thank you -- and your lovely wife -- for demonstrating true love.

Thank you for handling yourself with grace and equanimity in every situation.

Thank you for your patriotism.

Thank you for believing in America .  It is to our eternal shame that America did not, in this time and place, believe in you.

Well said. He is the perfect example of a "good man". I'm saddened that he wasn't elected.

...and one lacking in decency and morals who has no problem electing a president who associates with people who use the "N" word and calls women "hoes" and accepts money from another who publically called a woman whose only "fault" was disagreeing with him a "c."

We could have had a wonderful family in the White House and now we are reduced to Ghetto Trash.

He is a good man with a good family, it was the Republican platform that did him in.

no, it was the phrasse in the last debate, " i dont want to cut welfare, I want to get people back to work"

THAT is what did him in. That and the IDIOTS who voted to pay more taxes, do you REALLY think they will settle this CLIFF? no, they wont settle, and the bush tax cuts will be repealed ACROSS the board becuase "republicans" wont compromise. that will be the media excuse - when in reality, Democrats wont either, B/C THEY want the taxes across the board. circa bill clinton, january 1993.

Mr romney gave us all hope and i truly believe he should b our president. Its depressing to realize what values this country embraces. my values r obviously out of date with todays society

"That and the IDIOTS who voted to pay more taxes,"

I don't understand why they just don't pay more taxes than they owe. People like Oprah, Gates, Buffet,Springsteen...... There is no law against it and it is even encouraged. The Treasury Dept even has a division that can help those who want to pay more along.

I have a certain non profit that I support. They have personally called on me several times when the funds were low or an unexpected emergency happened. I wrote a check. I believe in this non profit and like where the money goes. If these rich people believe in the government and like where the money goes then by all means they should be standing in line to pay more in taxes. It's a no brainer.

"rich people" give you your job, fool. according to O'malley - rich in MD is making 100,000 per year. that aint rich - obama says 250,000. if you think they can afford the tax increase, your foolish. you wait and see the job market WILL NOT improve.

GE paid 0% effective tax rate in 2009. their CEO visited obama more than any other person that year. WHO protects the rich? the super wealthy dont pay, never have, they can afford to get around it, the MIDDLE CLASS pays, cause all the taxes on the rich are passed on thru the goods we buy. your a moron.

Mr. Romney shoould be in the white house instead of the lying, cheating, moochers we have now. The Obama's have use our money to live a very high class lifestyle, taking many vacations, golfing, throwing big parties for their people from Chicago.

Mr. Romney is a real gentleman, who lives a good life. We the American people are the ones who are suffering the loss of his experience and wisdom.

Thank you to the one that put together this wonderful tribute to a man that deserved so much more from the American people. Thank you to the Romney family for turning your lives upside down for something you believed in with your whole heart. I am grieved that the American people did not see the way to a better America.

Mrs Romney is a true lady. Unlike the sleazyball in the White House now who would even think to stick with a man who condones women being called "hoes" and the "c" word. And to think this woman is raising 2 daughters. They will end up drug addicts or something like what happened to alot of former presidents children. They don't stand a chance with the lack of ethics of their shamefull parents.
