SNOW HILL -- A couple involved in the 2007 slaying of a Delaware woman have agreed to a plea deal that will send them both to prison for being accessories to murder.
Tia Johnson, 32, and Clarence Jackson, 38, were sentenced this morning in Worcester County Circuit Court for their involvement in the murder of Christine Sheddy, who was 29.
Both agreed to an Alford plea, which is not an admission of guilt, but acknowledges prosecutors have enough evidence for a guilty verdict.

Can't link there... I am not a paying customer!
They have cut their own damn throats now.At least before, even if they could not give the papers away, they could make money on ads.Screw the Times.I refuse to pay for that crap.
It was an Alford Plea. I'm not fond of them but when you have a 'stubborn' defendant sometimes it's the only option.
In this case I'm sure it saved the victim's family the mental anguish of having to relive horrific details and quite possibly hearing previously unknown shocking and heinous particulars.
It was a good call on the part of Wor's States Attorney.
