The Federal Aviation Administration is working towards putting the finishing touches on rules and regulations for widespread domestic drone use, and the agency expects as many as 30,000 UAVs will be in America’s airspace by the decade’s end. As Russia Today notes [5], given that the department has already addressed the issue of acquiring drones to give the DHS a better eye of domestic doings, though, those law enforcement operations in question could very well transcend away from legitimate uses and quickly cause civil liberty concerns from coast-to-coast. All drones will be equipped with Electro-Optical/Infra-Red sensors, as well as the technology to sniff out certain chemicals from thousands of feet above our heads. Have no fear though, since the "Robotic Aircraft for Public Safety" program is for your own protection, we are sure Janet Napolitano would suggest.

We lost our financial freedom long ago. Now it's time to officially destroy the Constitution. May God help us all.
Did anyone see the drone fly over downtown Salisbury a couple weeks ago? I saw it when I was by Brew River - it was flying east about 200 feet off the ground.

No drones, here but several black helicopters.
there have been drones here. our freedoms are officially gone. we will be watched at all times. get it yet?
How much do we have to hear and see before EVERYONE realizes that there is NO "boogeyman" big enough to require 30,000 drones "monitoring" us 24-7?? These drones have NOTHING to do with OUR safety. It has EVERYTHING to do with THEIR safety. It sure would help the government to know where civilians are gathering, even at night. Helps get the National Guard and State Lice mobilized and on point quickly. You know, to make sure CITIZENS don't get too uppity. MILITARY technology being deployed AGAINST Americans by their own government. But, I'll bet most of you yes-men think this is where they will stop, too. Clue --- NOT. This is ONLY THE BEGINNING. Wake the hell up, especially to the fact that your "representatives" are going right along and voting for it. That ain't "tin-foil hat" THEORY.. THOSE are the FACTS.
Person of Interest technology.I'm loving every minute of this! This will be wonderful for honest people. The dishonest among us will be kept in check.Like the article said,it's for your own protection, unless you have something to hide.
12:02 --- they LOVE it when people like you say that. When in the hell did most Americans ASK for their "protection" and exactly WHAT are we being "protected" against? Pretty soon, we will ALL be "persons of interest", with the exception being those who still have their SS uniforms and Gestapo badges. Like you. Please leave the country. You have no right to call yourself an American. But Red Guard should suit you just fine.
12:02 I seriously doubt you are an honest person all the time, nobody is perfect. But I do hope, when the time comes, your yes'm attitude has you still smiling when the shotgun is in your face with the rest of us. Good luck.
