Wicomico County’s Family Portal Now Open For The 2012-13 School Year

Wicomico County’s popular Family Portal -- for families with students in grades 3-12 – is now open for the 2012-13 school year. Family Portal is an online resource for parents and guardians to monitor their student’s grades, attendance and other information. Students can also track their progress using Family Portal.

Parents/guardians and students can use the Family Portal through the end of the school year to view demographic data, academic progress, and view attendance, schedules assignments and grades.

Go to www.wcboe.org and click on the Family Portal box on the lefthand side. All passwords from the previous school year have been reset, for security purposes. Instructions are below for logging in for the 2012-13 school year. Please check with your student’s school if you have any questions about using Family Portal or wish to discuss the information you find there about your student.

Family Portal supports the goals of the school system and the Wicomico County Board of Education to engage families and provide opportunities for communication. Providing timely information for parents, guardians and students about student performance serves the school system’s Bridge to Excellence Master Plan strategic priorities of High Student Achievement, Safe Learning Environment, and Effective & Efficient Operations.
