DelDOT Ready For Weekend Race Traffic

Dover -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) welcomes fans to the 2012 NASCAR Race Series on Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30 for the "OneMain Financial 200" and "AAA 400" at the Dover International Speedway.

Traffic Information

DelDOT's Transportation Management Center (TMC) staff, City of Dover Police, and Delaware State Police will monitor traffic in and around the Dover vicinity to ensure safe travel for pedestrians and motorists.

On Sunday, September 30, the Dover International Speedway's main entrance on Route 13 will be CLOSED for all southbound traffic when parking at the Dover International Speedway is full. When the race is finished on Sunday afternoon, Leipsic Road will also be CLOSED to through traffic. This closure will allow traffic to immediately exit onto Route 13 and traffic from Lot 2 Parking to exit directly to Leipsic Road.
