Salisbury Police Department Press Release 7-12-12

Victoria Grant, 51yo of Fruitland, MD was arrested and charged with 1st & 2nd degree Attempted Murder, 2 counts of 1st degree Assault, 2 counts of 2nd degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, 3 counts of Burglary, and MDOP < $500.

On July 10, 2012 at approximately 5:20pm, officers responded to the 900 block of E Church St for a reported burglary. On arrival, officers met with the victim who stated that a former girlfriend (Grant) had come to his residence. Grant was irate and cut three screens with a knife. Grant then stated that she was going to “kill” the victim and entered into his residence. Grant slashed the victim’s back with the knife and struck him in the head with a piece of wood. The victim sustained minor injuries. Grant was released to the custody of Central Booking.
