In an April report to the Frederick County Board of Education's curriculum and instruction committee, school system officials presented a proposal to phase out the Gifted and Talented Program primary grades while adding opportunities for students at their home schools.
Frederick County Public Schools officials cited research that suggests formal identification of gifted and talented students can wait until at least the end of second grade.

The liberals are trying to water down the education of families that want to learn so they can mix them with the thugs. This will help bring the schools AYP up while dumbing down the higher learners. Ask John Fredericksen about this.
Thats exactly what they are doing.Glad to see other people are aware of what is going on in our schools.
