The people drawing unemployment are 8.2 percent. The people that are unemployed are well over 11 percent.
I've said it before. Prepare. When the SHTF you will find yourselves at an extreme disadvantage unless you prepare......and I'm not talking the zombie apocalypse. Hungry people are desperate people. Desperate people will do unthinkable things. The government an the FED has done all it knows to do to kick this can down the road but they are about out of options. The end of the road is just a few yards away now. Banks runs will soon start here as they already have in Europe. The money you have been saving for a rainy day will be useful now. It's raining and it's gonna get worse. Prepare now.
This number is an absolute disaster! The analysis are already saying that the continuing loss of jobs are showing a downward spiral of our economy and that another recession is now looming. We have not even gotton out of the last recession - and now another seems imminent.
True that the real numbers of those who have given up are not factored in there. Nor are the ones who have part time jobs coming from full time jobs

The real problem overall, though, is the uncertainty and lack of confidence. Watch employment rise dramatically when the Supreme Court declares the disaster called ObamaCare unconstitutional.
