We are very pleased to have the opportunity to offer such a wonderful program to children in Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset and Dorchester Counties. This book program is TOTALLY FREE to participating children. Upon registering for the program, a child will receive a high quality, age-appropriate book delivered to his or her home each month until his or her fifth birthday. Children can sign up at any age as long as they are under five years old. For more details, visit http://www.unitedway4us.org/dolly-partons-imagination-library .

The goals for the Imagination Library include:
To help children foster a love of reading
To encourage family involvement
To enable every household to have books regardless of income level
And, ultimately, to better prepare children for entry into the school system Those who attend our event on May 29th will have the opportunity to learn more about this wonderful program, to discuss possible partnerships, volunteer opportunities and involvement, to network with other community-minded professionals, and to celebrate a great opportunity for young children on the Eastern Shore.
