On June 16th, Somerset County Recreation and Parks presents the 2012 the Summer Concert Festival in the Park. The event will take place in Westover, MD at the Long Centralized Recreation Complex. Gates will open at 12:00 noon, the first band will start at 12:30. 6 bands will take the stage for the festival. Bands include Wes Davis and Ray Holliday Band, Slim DeNunn and the High Rollers, Interesting Monsters, Hot Meals, alex&shiloh, and Bird Dog and the Road Kings. There will be food, beer and wine vendors on site. Bounce houses for kids. Tickets are on sale now for only $10.00. Tickets can be purchased at the Somerset County Recreation and Parks office. Most of the proceeds made will be donated to the Somerset Challengers Organization, organization for special needs children.
