ELLICOTT CITY, Md. - Howard County police have found a man dead from
an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in the woods near an Ellicott
City church where two women were shot Thursday evening.
The man is being investigated as a possible suspect in the St. Peter's Episcopal Church shooting.
One woman dead at the scene and another seriously wounded.
Howard County Police say a church custodian called 911 to report
the shooting about 5:20 p.m. One woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other was taken to a trauma hospital in critical condition.
