Motorcycle Operator Charged

Laurel- Matthew A. Kondash, 28, (Photo attached) the operator of the motorcycle involved in the fatal motorcycle crash in Laurel on May 18th, has been formally charged in the crash that claimed the life of Eleanor B. Pusey of Laurel.

Delaware State Detectives extradited Kondash back from Virginia this afternoon where he was being held as a fugitive. Kondash was processed at Troop 4 in Georgetown for the charges of: Manslaughter, Driving with a Suspended License, Reckless Driving, Operating a Vehicle with No Insurance, Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Displaying a Fictitious Registration Plate, No Motorcycle License, Operating a Vehicle in a No Passing Zone, and Traveling at an Unreasonable Speed. He was arraigned at JP3 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $20,800.00 secured bond.

If anyone wants to argue in favor of speed cameras, this incident gives just cause.For whatever reason,motorcycles are routinely driven way too fast.If a speed camera can actually capture a tag# from a motorcycle traveling at light speed I'm all for it.
