Interference with the Custody of a Child
Resume:
Georgetown, DE- The Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to locate a Dagsboro woman wanted in connection with Interfering with the Custody of a Child.
On Monday April 2, 2012, Detectives from Troop 4 in Georgetown assisted the Division of Family Services (DFS) with an investigation involving Tara Bertrand, 39, in reference to the neglect of her child, Kiera Bertrand, 5. On the same day, DFS was awarded custody of Kiera Bertrand through Family Court in Sussex County. Tara Bertrand did not appear at the hearing, nor did she bring her child to the hearing as requested.
The whereabouts of Tara Bertrand and her child, Kiera Bertrand, are unknown, but there is a possibility the two may be in or traveling to Pennsylvania. Tara Bertrand is wanted for Interfering with the Custody of a Child and Kiera is currently listed as a Missing Child.
